Greek tea

Greek tea is made with the use of "mountain tea" a herb growing wild all over Greece.
Some years back, while hiking on a mountain we started picking it on our way to the mountain top. By the time our hike was over we had picked several kilos of it.
It is perfect for flue season, breath over your cup and let the steam and aroma clear up your nose and throat. Add honey and lemon for natural sweeteners and flavoring.

Unlike normal tea, you don't infuse it in hot water. You have to boil the mountain tea with the water for some time, until the water gets the desired color. Here are pictures of every step of preparation.

You can use the tea for 2-3 boils, just let it dry between uses and it will be fine. Although the second time around it will need to boil a little longer as its aroma becomes weaker. That can help you have enough until you visit Greece again.
